Philipp Kaltofen is a creative technologist and research assistant at the HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. He studied Interactive Media Design at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and completed his Master’s in Data-Driven Design at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. During his studies, he focused on interaction in the context of immersive technologies (VR, XR & Interactive Spaces) and the facilitation of participatory processes using machine learning. Together with other colleagues, he has launched the “Immersity Lab” project, which is funded by the Hessian Ministry for Digitalization and Innovation. In this interdisciplinary project team, he is working on the implementation and correlation of tracking data in the software, as a basis for data analysis.
