Urban Identity

The language of public space

Infrastructures for public transport, waste management, information or stay in public places, for example, forms the basis for living together, being mobile or doing business in our society. The project addressed public spaces and the design of infrastructures in terms of a product language for the public sphere. Hereby functional but also symbolic aspects play a role. New concepts and designs raise questions about the design of urban, public space and future life in the city and show new possibilities. Next to function, it is the experience of citizens in relation to the city that is thematised.
