A temporary space for the world of bicycles: In an external project room, the radraum, the teaching area “Integrative Design” at the HfG Offenbach (Prof. Peter Eckart, Dipl.-Des. Daniel Rese) dedicates one semester to the bicycle in all its facets: the object itself, its fundamental positioning (sport, everyday life, lifestyle), construction, materiality, drive, safety and speed, luggage, clothing, accessories, riding, maintenance, repair, transport and parking.
In addition to a service point with the necessary tools, radraum organizes workshops, lectures and regular public evenings as well as ride events.
radraum is supported by the City of Offenbach’s “Agentur Mitte” and the state funding program “Zukunft Innenstadt”. The radcafé and the ride events are supported by SunNoSun_CC and Piecycle Rad- und Trinkkultur.
