On March 13 and 14, experts from urban and mobility research, regional associations and municipalities, business, civil society and politics met in Berlin at the “Conference City of the Future 2024”. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the DLR Project Management Agency had invited participants to discuss results and experiences from the various funding measures on sustainability, mobility and urban development and to further develop the ministry’s new “Urban-Rural-Future Transformation Initiative”.
Our project “InterMoDe – Designing the municipal mobility system” was also present on site: the use of virtual reality simulations was demonstrated at the information stand and discussed in the workshop “New ways of participation – have you joined in today?”.
