Kai Vöckler is Professor of Urban Design at the HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design and co-directs the OIMD with Peter Eckart.
He is an urbanist, founding member of Archis Interventions and has carried out urban development projects in Germany and Southeast Europe as well as urban research projects in Europe and Asia. Together with landscape architects and architects, he has participated in competitions and urban development projects, curated various exhibitions at European cultural institutions and was endowed professor for creativity in the urban context in Offenbach from 2010-2021. He researches and publishes on spatial images of the urban (doctorate in art history), art theory and urbanistic topics and, of course, mobility design.
