wheel2wheel

The bicycle in the city – city bike

The wheel2wheel project was about designing a new bicycle, but also about new ideas for use and new technical developments in the bicycle industry and bicycle infrastructure. In addition to research and design, workshops and excursions were held to provide an introduction to the subject of bicycle construction, bicycle design and bicycle mobility in general. In wheel2wheel, concepts and designs were created that pose questions about our future mobility in the city and show new possibilities for the bicycle.

The design of the Convercycle bike, from which a start-up has emerged, also comes from this semester project.
